Job Fair Coming to Town

Grande Prairie Regional College is partnering with Athabasca University (AU) to convert 450 existing courses to a digital format for online learning. To complete this task a number of full and part-time positions will be created for a fifteen month term, beginning in January 2010 and ending in March 2011.
To provide further information about the positions, AU will be hosting a job fair outside Howler’s from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Interested applicants are invited to stop by and apply for the administrative, computing and supervisory positions.
Representatives from AU will be available to answer questions about the jobs, about being an AU employee and to assist with applying for positions. Ideal candidates for the administrative positions will have basic knowledge of MS Word and a willingness to work and learn. Training will be provided on specific computer applications used on the job.
