I always knew I wanted to be in entertainment. But I didn't know it was going to be radio until one day years ago at the Moose Jaw Centre for Performing Arts when the Interpretive Dance instructor stood before me and said "Albers!.... You want fame?! Well fame costs …and here is where you’re going to pay!" Well there is no way I was going to go through all that working out, stiffness and sore muscles...so the next logical step was to host a Morning show. And boy has it paid off! Great hours, free concerts, I have a charity in my name "Kev's Kids" I've been nominated a hometown hero combine that with "Classic Rock and Today’s Best Rock" I've found Xanadu baby!

I truly believe that if you could move Grande Prairie just a little further away from Edmonton, and a little closer to Calgary, this town would be so much cooler (at least the hockey would be a little better) All kidding aside, my family and I love it up north…working for ROCK 97.7 and getting to meet listeners in the community is better than I ever dreamed it would be. I’ll spend winters hoping the Flames can slowly catch the Oilers in championships and the summers working on my golf game. Need an extra to round out that four-some? I'll rake the traps….

Nothing is better then good conversation and good music and that's radio at its best. I love talking and hate writing.
