• He thinks the greatest sound one can hear is a combination of two Rickenbacker guitars, a Hofner bass and Ludwig drums.
• He bought a Beatles bootleg album and briefly considered sending the surviving members royalty money. 
• He is one of the lucky people to escape Surrey, B.C alive and with his car.
  

Born and raised in Winnipeg I’m pretty sure I’m Burton Cumming’s love child.
Being from the Peg, I have a responsibility to wave the Rock and Roll flag high and proud.
I take this duty seriously, and I only stop the Rock to sing “Head Shoulders, Knees and Toes” to my son. I am Becker… Hear me roar!

Sarcastic and mouthy are just 2 of my many charming qualities! Which might explain why I've been run out of almost every town I've worked in. Born and raised on the prairies and a lifelong Stampeder and Flames fan. My two greatest joys in life are my two sons Zac and Zane who keep me pretty grounded and make me laugh everyday. My biggest passion is and always will be music whether its cranking out tunes on ROCK 97.7 or singing with my band.

Another Winnipeg boy in the house! Please, don't assume for a second that I’m a fan of the Phoenix Coyotes… actually I’m a huge fan of the New Jersey Devils. My favourite band is Pearl Jam…but if it’s classic or new rock I’ll listen to it…believe it or not extensive research goes into scheduling music at ROCK 97.7 and I love contributing to the overall greatness of Today’s BEST Rock and Killer Classics. This summer I plan to defend my title as best golfer at the station, watch every new release movie that comes out (my gf’s video store job kicks ass), and hope to god the Broncos can win more than 5 games this season. A little side note… I’m not a bobble head, that’s just creative photography.

I wrote off my car in one of GP's infamous potholes/Grand Canyons… and just never left. I truly believe that if you could move Grande Prairie just a little further away from Edmonton, and a little closer to Calgary, this town would be so much cooler (at least the hockey would be a little better) All kidding aside, my family and I love it up north…working for ROCK 97.7 and getting to meet listeners in the community is better than I ever dreamed it would be. I’ll spend winters hoping the Flames can slowly catch the Oilers in championships and the summers working on my golf game. Need an extra to round out that four-some? I'll rake the traps….

Somewhere between the origins of rock and today's pop, rock bands ruled. They had great songs, gold records, millions of fans, tight clothes, and hair… lots of hair.
